Bury 92 Oldham 68 Prem Div 2006/7 Season Report by Peter Parker |
| With a spot in the playoffs up for grabs, Bury needed to win against a team that has consistently been a challenge, and after a three point win away, this game looked to be another close one.
However, Oldham could only muster together five players and so the game changed from becoming a challenge to a game of raising confidence and team chemistry. The game was never in doubt although a 21 to 12 third quarter advantage to Oldham gave Bury something to think about. Bury ran away winners 92 to 68 and the win helped them to maintain a playoff spot. With two home games against Penwortham and Oxford and two fixtures needing to be arranged against MBC, Bury are hopeful that a playoff spot is in easy grasp...although nothing has been easy this season. Ste Graham and Alan Hall led scorers with 20 and 15 points. |
