Basketball England Insurance Update

Due to recent changes by Basketball Englands (BE) insurance providers, an amendment to BE's current procedures for insurance claims has been requested that you should be aware of.

For any and all incidents that occur which could give rise to a claim, please make sure that an Accident Form (Word Document) is completed and attached with your claim so that full details of the incident can be provided to our insurers. Should a claim be forthcoming that does not contain an Accident Form, it will still be considered but is significantly more likely to be declined.

If you are a club secretary, please ensure the information within this email is passed on to all members that may be responsible for training, games and sessions within your club. If you have any questions on the above, please contact the Membership department.

Code of Ethics and Conduct

As a general reminder to all members, you should regularly review the Basketball England Code of Ethics and Conduct (Word Document) and Social Media Policy (Word Document).

If you have any questions about this matter, please contact Basketball England.
