Currently we have 3 divisions incorporating teams from all over Greater Manchester (Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Ashton, Stockport, Trafford, Salford) and the surrounding areas (Lancashire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Merseyside): Rainford, Blackpool, Crewe, Preston, Burnley, Leigh, Rossendale, Buxton, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Knutsford and Warrington.

Electronic Scoreboard for sale!

We have been informed that one of our venues has an electronic scoreboard (large wall mounted) available for sale for £1000. The unit is 6 years old, operated by wireless remote and in full working order and is available for immediate collection.

Holmes Chapel Hornets II are moving venue!

In the New Year all the Holmes Chapel Hornets II team will play at MMU Crewe (MMU Crewe Campus, Crewe Green Road, Crewe. CW15DU ) - still on a Wednesday night but now with a tip off time of 8.00pm

Course Title: L1 Basketball Coach Course

This is the basic level of award in coaching basketball for those with little or no knowledge of basketball and is suitable for those coaches wishing to work alongside more qualified coaches in a club or school environment.
Date: Saturday 25th February and Saturday 3rd March 2012

Court Markings Update - 20th November 2011

You may be aware that court markings are due to change. We have until 2015 to implement but some courts have changed already and some have both sets of markings. The MABL committee would like to clarify it's stance on this for all MABL clubs and referees controlling MABL games.
- If there are two 3 point lines (i.e. old and new) we play to the old markings
- If there is only one 3 point line marked we play to it whichever it is.
- If the three metre charge circle is marked it is not to be used.
